Sunday Worship

st-marks-abilene holds its weekly Holy Eucharist service on Sundays at 10:30 AM.

Location

Services are held at the parish's retail-space location:

• 3301 S. 14th St., Suite 15 (River Oaks Shopping Village), Abilene, Texas.

Liturgy Structure

The service is modeled closely on the Catholic Mass and divided into two parts:

• Liturgy of the Word: Scripture readings (OT, Psalm, NT, Gospel), sermon (typically by the chaplain), Nicene Creed, prayers, confession, absolution, and the passing of the peace.
• Liturgy of the Table: Communion (bread and wine). St. Mark's extends an open invitation to all baptized Christians to receive communion.
